Danger Pop on life lessons

Fellow daddy blogger, DangerPop, made a great post recently – Things to tell the kids (1).

I found the post to be something that I think we all remember every once in a while and tell ourselves, “I need to remember to tell the kids that.” It’s just that we seldome do it.

DangerPop has decided to memorialize these life lessons in his blog. I think it’s wonderful idea.

I love his first lesson. It’s a lesson for all of us. I quote it here:

A Native American boy was talking with his grandfather “What do you think about the world situation?” he asked.

The grandfather replied, “I feel like wolves are fighting in my heart. One is full of anger and hatred; the other is full of love, forgiveness, and peace.

“Which one will win?” asked the boy?

To which the grandfather replied, “The one I feed.”

Well done, buddy. Keep up the good work.

All the best
